I feel obliged to remind the rest of the world of the fact that US presidential candidate Barack Obama is not an African. Its important for the world to totally recognize the fact that Mr Obama is a citizen of the United States by birth.

His late mum was American and he was raised by his American grandparents. He was not raised in Africa. As a child, the family knew was predominantly white. And the fact still shows that Mr. Obama is more white than black.
Yes indeed his skin may be a bit colored because the man that got his mum pregnant isn't white . But we should not neglect his white side. He is a fair mixture of both races and his unwavering allegiance is to the course of the United States first.

I think African countries should stop giving themselves false hopes that if he is elected he will flood the continent with America's wealth. The truth is that : THAT WON'T HAPPEN. He owes his political allegiance to his home country,The United States of America
.
Indeed,he may identify with the black community one way or the other and may have suffered some of those things that black people have suffered . But i am not sure that will change his priorities as President. I say without doubt that if he had been thinking like a blackman, he would not have attempted the Presidency. He would have thought himself disadvantaged like many dark- skinned people think.

He seems to be a man that has feelings for suffering people. This may be because he himself was not born with a silver spoon and had to face some hardships at times. That is why he is seen as the candidate with a better understanding of the US economy. If he is elected ,i think any aid to Africa or to any other country will be in the best interest of the United States and the world at large.

I think Africa's interest in Barack Obama should come from the fact that he is intelligent, smart, more mature and is an exciting fellow. Sometimes i try to figure out his mindset on the world. I wonder what he thinks about when he is alone.

Remember,if he was a junkie, he would never had come this far. What the world sees today about Barack Obama is an investment of virtue and excellence that has taken good years of commitment, truth and determination to nurture.

When Barack Obama says '' CHANGE'' ,its means he has found out something wrong. And we hope to see that THING that he found out. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
